Minnehaha Traditional
Breathing new life into a Midwestern galley kitchen can feel like you’ve revitalize the entire home. The challenge comes with inserting modern amenities within a limited space, while managing traffic patterns. In this complete kitchen renovation, an existing seating nook was removed to allow the working kitchen to be expanded with larger archway leading to the existing dining room. Soffits were removed so crown molding capped cabinetry could run all the way to the ceiling. Cabinetry, design to match the original architecture and finishes, was kept light to allow the space to appear larger.
