Craftsman Kitchen Addition

As a winner of a MN COTY award, a Midwest Regional COTY and Chrysalis award, and two MN ROMA awards this 1923 Arts&Crafts foursquare style home was open to the public during the 2011 Remodelers Showcase. The home features the transformation of an existing 63 square foot kitchen into a ¾ bath and storage hall and a 12×21 kitchen addition, created to house the new larger kitchen, back entry and “inglenook.”  The new spaces feature detailed custom millwork, handmade tile, traditional honed soapstone counters, pushbutton lighting controls and an old-world color palette to create a soft, inviting atmosphere.  These new and renovated spaces are a testimonial to the melding of contemporary engineering and classic craftsmanship.
