National Award Winning Project

Vujovich Wins National Remodeling Award and

Continues to set new standards of professionalism.  Vujovich (voy-o-vich) competed against remodeling companies from across the United States in the 2015 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence.  The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.

Vujovich received National Chrysalis honors for Best Bath Remodel in the US, costing between $50 and $75K.  The project is a dramatic transformation of a Golden Valley master suite from a marble fortress into a modern spa.

In this 1960’s era home, previous owners created an 80’s master bath expansion that they considered a lavish addition of space.  Unfortunately, it was a pink marble fortress that lacked functionality and style.  Nearly all surfaces were covered in shiny marble, which was not only dangerously slippery, but visually exhausting and dated.  The current homeowners’ taste leans toward a “quiet” modern aesthetic with clean, simple lines and the use of natural materials.

Working with Taunya Nelson of White Space Architecture, Vujovich Design Build transformed this large space into a peaceful haven for the homeowners to begin and end each day.
